The road
Osh → Dostuk/Dustlik border → Andijan → Fergana valley → Kamchik pass (about 2,270 m) → Tashkent. About 10 km on the Kyrgyz side and 380 km on the Uzbek side.
Good to know
- You cross the border on foot with your bags — usually 30–90 minutes for both posts; the second driver tracks you on WhatsApp.
- The Kamchik pass can close for a few hours in heavy snow in winter; we move the time if it does.

Is the Dostuk crossing open for foreigners?
Yes, it is the main crossing between the Fergana valley and Osh and is used by tourists every day. Queues are longest in the morning and on holidays.
