The road
Four-lane highway the whole way, lit, no tolls. At night it is 30 minutes; in the 08:00–10:00 and 17:00–19:00 rush allow 50.

How much is a taxi from Manas airport to Bishkek?
A fair metered price on Yandex Go is 700–900 som (about $8–10) in daytime if you have a local SIM and cash. Touts in the hall ask 1,500–3,000 som. A pre-booked private car with us is $25 for a sedan ($35 between 23:00 and 06:00), with no haggling and payment to the driver.
My flight lands at 3 am — is that a problem?
No. Most flights to Bishkek arrive at night. There is a $10 night supplement between 23:00 and 06:00 and the driver is there regardless of the hour.
Can I go straight to Issyk-Kul or Karakol from the airport?
