How it works
- Write to us on WhatsApp — alone or for your group. We add you to a WhatsApp group for your date.
- Each student prepays $15 to hold a seat. The rest is paid to the driver on the day, in cash (USD or som) or by card link.
- Once at least 4 seats are paid, the car is confirmed. The evening before you get the driver’s photo, phone and car plate.
- Pickup from your dorm, hostel or flat in Bishkek (we agree the pickup points in the group), border swap at Korday, drop-off in Almaty or at ALA.
When it runs
- Peak seasons — August–September and December–January: fixed departure dates announced in the WhatsApp group; join seat by seat.
- Any other date: bring at least 4 students and we run the minivan on your date at the same per-seat price.
- Not enough seats by the day before? We refund the prepayment in full or move you to the next departure — your choice.
Good to know
- Luggage: up to 2 × 23 kg suitcases plus a cabin bag per student. Five students with 2 big bags each fit a Starex; six go in a Sprinter.
- At the border everybody walks through passport control with their bags; the Kazakh driver waits on the other side — free, however long the queue.
- Flying out of ALA? Tell us your flight: we plan the departure with a 4-hour buffer before the earliest flight in the car.
- Free cancellation of your seat up to 24 hours before departure.
- Check your documents first: visa rules by nationality — and keep your Kyrgyz study visa or residence permit valid for coming back.

How much is a seat from Bishkek to Almaty?
$60 a seat when 4 students share the minivan, $55 when 5 share, $52 when 6 share a Sprinter. Minimum 4 seats.
How do I book a seat?
On WhatsApp. You join the group for your date and prepay $15 to hold the seat; the rest goes to the driver on the day.
What if there are fewer than 4 students?
Then the car does not run as a shared minivan: we refund your $15 or move you to the next date. You can also book the whole minivan — $250 with a border swap.
Does it go to Almaty airport?
Yes, Almaty city or Almaty airport (ALA) — tell us your flight and we plan with a 4-hour buffer.
