A longer, emptier alternative to Ala-Kul — six to nine days through the Ak-Suu valleys over several passes above 3,800 m, mostly self-supported. This is the route on this board where the company matters more than the money.
Ala-Kul has yurts, other hikers and a way out at almost every point. The Ak-Suu Traverse does not, for several of its days: no camps to fall back on, real route-finding, and long stretches where you will see nobody. People posting for this route are usually not looking to save 2,000 som on a taxi — they are looking for someone to share navigation, gear weight, and the margin that a second person gives you when something goes wrong at altitude.
Costs are modest and mostly per person: the park fee, a river-crossing charge on day two that one source puts anywhere between 350 and 1,000 som, food, and gear if you are renting. Private transfers between the trailheads run $75–100 a vehicle, which is the one line worth splitting. Yurt nights where they exist are around 3,000 som.
Plenty of people walk three or four days of the traverse and exit rather than doing the whole thing. If that is your plan, say so in your listing — it is a common way to match with someone whose window is the same length as yours.
