The road
Typical loops: Bishkek → Issyk-Kul north shore → Karakol → south shore → Kochkor → Song-Kul → Bishkek (7 days); Bishkek → Song-Kul → Kazarman → Osh (5 days, one way). One-way trips include the driver’s way home.

Where does the driver sleep?
In your guesthouse or a cheaper one nearby — it is already in the daily price.
Do we need a 4x4?
For Song-Kul, Kel-Suu, Tash-Rabat and the Kazarman road, yes. Issyk-Kul and the main roads are fine in a sedan or minivan.
